Type Tests
Epil has successfully established over 20 specialized laboratories in various fields, including explosion-proof equipment, power plant busbars, medical devices, functional safety (SIL), solar panels, telecommunications equipment, industrial electrical equipment, automation devices, protection systems, information technology equipment, and household appliances. With both international (ISO/IEC 17025 traceable through ILAC) and national (from the National Accreditation Center of Iran) certifications, the test reports issued by Epil are recognized and trusted both domestically and internationally.
On-Site Tests
In addition to performing type tests in its laboratories, Epil has the capability to conduct various tests, such as Tan Delta (Tan δ), Partial Discharge, EMC, Hipot, safety, and explosion-proof tests, at the project site or where the equipment is installed. This includes locations like power plants, refineries, factories, metro stations, and more. On-site tests are typically performed for preventive maintenance during operation, periodic tests, or tests after installation and before commissioning. These tests are especially necessary for equipment that cannot be easily transported to a laboratory. They require specialized technical and quality conditions and are commonly conducted on equipment such as power plant generators, medium- and high-voltage cables, transformers, protective relays, meters, medical equipment, and more.
Sample Tests
Sample tests are usually conducted to ensure that the client (buyer) is satisfied with the quality of the products. These tests are performed on random samples from a batch, with the testing scope depending on the batch size. Furthermore, for mass-produced items such as insulators, lighting equipment, meters, and similar products, sample tests are mandatory according to standard requirements. Epil can conduct these tests based on the project stakeholders' decisions.
