Lighting Lab (Lamps and Lights)
1- Introduction of the Lighting Laboratory:
Lighting Laboratory of Energy Industries Laboratories as one of Tavanir approved laboratories for performing Tavanir Directive tests for LED street lights (approved by vendor Tavanir) as well as one of the first neutral laboratories collaborating with the Institute of Standards and ISO 17025 and traceable by ILAC in the field of complete tests of lamps and lights (Safety, Performance, EMC, IP, ATEX.
This laboratory is also active in numerous projects of Tavanir, municipalities, government projects and for export and import (customs) as well as receiving CE marking which further clarifies the need for the presence of an internationally recognized reference laboratory for quality assessment and technical inspection.
2-The purpose of testing and providing services in the lighting laboratory of energy industries can be described in the following ways:
2.1 Providing services to manufacturers such as:
– Performing typing test products in the lighting industry with ILAC international traceability
– Testing and issuing international certificates (CE, ATEX) in accordance with European Directives IMQ Italy and SZU TEST Turkey
– Consulting and performing the necessary tests to obtain the standard mark for manufactured products
– Reviewing the production process of products and discovering and eliminating possible defects in the production process before standard sampling
– Technical advice to equip the laboratory and the necessary training in this field
– Qualitative advice for implementation of systems and obtaining related documents
– Performing inspection and audit of production lines
2.2 Providing services to importers such as:
– Performing related affairs to obtain import permits of goods
– Reviewing and announcing the necessary standards for entering the goods and performing related tests
– Guidance for the process of purchasing and entering the goods and necessary advice before purchasing the goods and checking and announcing possible defects
This laboratory also works in numerous projects of Tavanir, municipalities, government projects and for export and import (customs) as well as receiving CE marking which clarifies the need for the presence of an internationally recognized reference laboratory for quality assessment and technical inspection.
3-Standards and products covered by:
Perform all safety tests, performance, electromagnetic compatibility and explosion proof tests for the following products:
- Lamps, modules and lights such as: CFL, LED, mercury vapor and sodium
- Types of drivers and launchers
- Energy Label Tests
Tests that can be performed along with standards for related products:
