It is also recognized as one of the first impartial laboratories affiliated with the Institute of Standards, holding ISO 17025 certification and traceable by ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).
The laboratory performs all Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests for the following product categories:
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) refers to the interaction between electrical and electronic equipment with their electromagnetic environment or other nearby devices. Essentially, each electrical or electronic device has the potential to emit electromagnetic waves into its surroundings, which can cause interference with its own operation or that of other nearby devices. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the correct functioning of electrical and electronic devices within their electromagnetic environment.
EMC testing helps manufacturers understand the level of electromagnetic compatibility of their products, allowing them to make the necessary adjustments and obtain the certifications required for entering competitive markets.
