EPIL's Compact Substation, Switchgear, and Busduct Laboratory is one of the country's leading laboratories in conducting type tests and issuing test certificates compliant with international standards. It is also one of the earliest impartial laboratories in collaboration with the Standard Institute, Tavanir Company, and power distribution companies.
This laboratory holds ISO17025 certification from Iran's National Accreditation Center (NACI) and Analitica Center in Russia. This certification is traceable by the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) for conducting tests on compact substations, switchgear, and busducts.
In addition to collaboration with Tavanir Company, the Standard Institute, and power distribution companies, this laboratory is active in collaborating with petrochemical companies and large industries that require the presence of an accredited reference laboratory for quality assessment and technical inspection.
Low-voltage and medium-voltage busduct systems.
Common tests conducted on these products include insulation tests, continuous rated current and temperature rise tests, protection tests against external objects (IP), and mechanical impact tests (IK).
Some of the common standards used for testing compact substations and switchgear panels include IEC 62271-100, IEC 62271-103, IEC 62271-200, IEC 62271-202, IEC 61439-1, IEC 61439-2, IEC 61439-6, and IEC 60947.
