EMC Laboratory

EMC Laboratory

Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory (EMC)

1- Introduction of EMC Laboratory:

EMC Lab of Energy Industries Laboratories as one of Tavanir’s approved laboratories, Radio Communications and Regulatory Authority, Food and Drug Administration and Medical Equipment, Customs of the whole country, etc. To perform standard tests as well as one of the first neutral laboratories affiliated with the Institute of Standards and ISO 17025 certified and traceable by ILAC is active.

This laboratory also works in numerous projects of Tavanir, municipalities, government projects and for export and import (customs) as well as receiving CE marking which clarifies the need for the presence of an internationally recognized reference laboratory for quality assessment and technical inspection.

The purpose of the tests and services in EMC Lab can be described in the following ways:

2.1 Providing services to manufacturers such as:

– Typing test products in different industries with ILAC international traceability

– International testing and certification (CE) in accordance with European directives IMQ Italy and SZU TEST Turkey

– Performing the necessary tests to obtain the standard mark for manufactured products

– Review the production process of products and detect and eliminate possible defects in the production process before standard sampling

– Performing inspection and audit of production lines

2.2 Providing services to importers such as:

– Performing related affairs to obtain import permits of goods

– Reviewing and announcing the necessary standards for the import of goods and performing related tests with it

3. Standards and products covered by:

All electromagnetic compatibility tests for the following products: Medical Equipment Information Technology, Audiovisual and Multimedia Telecommunication and radio equipment Measurement, Laboratory and Alarm Equipment Industrial and semi-industrial equipment Electricity, Water and Gas Meters RTU and smart meter modem Home Appliances Lighting Accessories Other electronic equipment

Testscan be carried out along with the standard for the related products:

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is the interaction of electrical and electronic equipment with the electromagnetic environment around itself or other existing equipment. In fact, any electrical or electronic equipment has the ability to emit electromagnetic waves into its environment, which can interfere with the performance of the equipment and other electrical and electronic equipment around it. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the correct operation of electrical and electronic equipment in the electromagnetic environment around them. The electromagnetic compatibility test helps manufacturers to gain awareness of the level of electromagnetic compatibility of their products so that if necessary they can make necessary modifications and obtain the necessary certificates for entering the competitive market. Electromagnetic compatibility tests are classified into four groups according to the nature of the test:
